Our Mission

The Lake Norman Lucky Cat Program, "Lucky Cats," is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to improving the welfare of community cats primarily through:

  • Facilitating the humane, long-term solution of Trap, Neuter, Return, Manage (TNRM) and low-cost spay/neuter services.

  • Reducing the number of unowned cats in communities.

  • Educating the public about feral and community cats.

  • Establishing partnerships with organizations to support the humane management of community cats.

  • Implementing management plans for the peaceful coexistence of cats and people.

Humanely Managing

Community Cat Populations

We believe a well cared for cat is a Lucky Cat.

We are committed to improving the lives of unowned community cats, helping them become Lucky Cats too.

We believe in making a difference in our community by reducing cat overpopulation, lowering euthanasia rates, and providing humane solutions benefitting cats and people.

With your help, their luck is changing.
